Renewal and Revalidation Course Overview

Renewal or Revalidation course is a 2 days course which covers either Instrument Ratings (IR) or class ratings renewal or revalidation. Instrument Ratings (IR) may be Renewed / Revalidated in the airplane or Simulator FNPT II every alternate year. Class Ratings may be Renewed / Revalidated in the airplane or part of it on Simulator FNPT II.

Instrument Rating (SPA)

Instrument Ratings may be Renewed / Revalidated in the airplane or Simulator FNPT II every alternate year.

• Expired for a period longer than 3 months but shorter than 1 year: a minimum of 1 training session
• Expired for a period longer than 1 year but shorter than 7 years: a minimum of 2 training sessions

Instrument rating Renewal/Revalidation can be combined with aircraft class rating Renewal/Revalidation at the same proficiency test.

Duration: 2 days

Aircraft Class Rating

Class Ratings may be Renewed / Revalidated in the airplane or part of it on Simulator FNPT II.

• Expired for a period longer than 3 months but shorter than 1 year: a minimum of 2 training sessions
• Expired for a period longer than 1 year but shorter than 3 years: a minimum of 3 training sessions
• Expired for a period longer than 3 year the applicant should again undergo the the training required for initial issue of the rating.

Class rating Renewal/Revalidation can combined with aircraft instrument rating Renewal/Revalidation at the same proficiency test.
